ENRICO SILVA

Enrico Silva is a cinematographer based in New York City. Born into a Mexican-Italian family and raised between CDMX and Texas, his background has shaped his perspective and curiosity about people, culture, and the stories that connect us.

Guided by story and a collaborative approach to filmmaking, Enrico works closely with directors to develop a visual language specific to each project. His work balances a strong sense of composition and light with an instinct for the intimate, unexpected moments that give a film its humanity.

Enrico holds an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute Conservatory and a BFA in Film & Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He received the 2022 CamerImage Golden Tadpole for his cinematography on Magdalena and the 2020 NFMLA Award for Best Cinematography for Manifestation.

Driven by a curiosity that extends beyond the camera, Enrico is also the founder of Gamut Studio, an animation studio creating narrative visuals for the music industry through 3D animation. His practice spans live action and digital image-making, bringing both disciplines together through a shared interest in storytelling.
